CAE Parc Aviation along with our esteemed partner KLM are excited to announce that we are actively recruiting for Engine Mechanics. This is a permanent position working directly with KLM. It offers a great work/life balance in a best-in-class work environment.
You will not only maintain and repair various aircraft engines from day one, you will also participate in a targeted and extensive learning program within KLM’s unique business.
Main responsibilities:
Is it time for a full engine check? You first disassemble the engine according to order. You will go through all different engine parts: from the largest turbines to the smallest bolts. KLM will:
You will be expected to follow all safety regulations as per KLM standards.
You will work at Engine Services at Schiphol-Oost, in a team in a shift-based environment (morning and afternoon shifts). You end up in a structured world with clear tasks and a zero-tolerance policy for mistakes: this means it is always clear what you need to do. KLM are also increasingly using digital tools that help them work smarter and more efficiently.
You start in this position as Engine Mechanic Level 3. Based on your history, experience, and commitment, you can grow to Engine Mechanic Level 2. This means that you will be promoted to a higher scale with the maximum salary. In general, it takes 6 months - 1 year before you move on. Ultimately, you can progress to Level 1 to become an All-round Mechanic or Lead Mechanic if you prove to be suitable. The maximum salary for All-round Mechanic is € 3,813 and for Lead Mechanic is € 4,035.
