CAE is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) that will initially see CAE publishing EASA Together4Safety promotional material on Airside.aero, the CAE digital community that connects pilots together.
The partnership was unveiled at the 2021 European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) in Berlin by John Franklin of EASA and David Owens of CAE. To support the safe return to operations, the collaboration will provide aviation industry employees far wider online access to safety guidance information and training materials.
“As airline travel increases, we’re excited about making this important safety information available to more aviation personnel around the globe” said Nick Leontidis, CAE’s Group President, Civil Aviation Training Solutions. “This partnership with CAE will greatly enhance the outreach to the aviation community and keep them updated with the latest safety promotion initiatives and material from EASA” said John Franklin.
Together4Safety is a safety promotion initiative developed by EASA to provide the aviation community with a wide range of useful safety resources. After the disruption suffered by the industry over the past couple of years, the initiative recognizes the real need to provide resources to help support aviation industry employees to safely return to operations.
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is the centrepiece of the European Union's strategy for aviation safety. Our mission is to promote and achieve the highest common standards of safety and environmental protection in civil aviation. Based in Cologne, the Agency employs experts and administrators from all over Europe.
